Understanding the Air Force Core Values
The Air Force Core Values are fundamental principles that guide every Airman’s actions, decisions, and conduct. My purpose for developing this article is for you to not only understand the importance of our core values but also why they exist and how they make a difference in everything we do. Whether in the skies or on the ground, these three core values serve as the foundation for all our Air Force personnel.
Integrity First is the cornerstone of the Air Force Core Values. It means doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. This value is about honesty, responsibility, and accountability. Airmen are expected to uphold the highest moral and ethical standards, whether they're performing a task, making a decision, or interacting with others. Integrity builds trust and credibility, both essential for effective teamwork and leadership.
